I can't believe it's Tuesday night and 3 days from right now I'll finally be on my way to Poland. I'm not going to lie... I'm really dreading the flight :-(. Since our flight leaves at 5pm, and I should try and go to sleep as soon as possible, I think I may try to get up at 4am Friday morning. (But I have a feeling when that alarm goes off at 4:00 I'll just turn it off and go back to sleep!)
The last few months I've been doing lots of reading of different kinds of books to get ready for this trip. I've read text books, historical fiction and picture books. Here are some of the books I've read...
My bags are all set to go, I was able to fit it all into my carry on. I am so excited about that. It's going to be so nice to not have a big bag full of stuff to carry!!
3 more days of school and off to Poland I go!
:-)
Miss you already Lins, be safe!
ReplyDeleteHave a really fun time! Tell me all about it when you come back! I think it's very nice that you get to go to poland, and to learn all about the holocaust! Anyway, be safe, have fun, and have a blast!
ReplyDeleteJust read your blog and it's incredible! Your "kids" are so lucky to have you document such an educational trip/opportunity. As I write this, you're flying to an amazing and historical place that in many ways will change your life, which in turn will change the outlook of your students! I am so psyched for you ... and your students!
